Dr Kareem Salhiyyah is a Co-applicant and co-investigator in a research grant on
Optimising Cardiac Surgery ouTcOmes in People with diabetes (OCTOPuS).
He and his team were awarded funding of £2.1 Million to run this multicentre trial in the UK which is still ongoing.
